(1957 - 1993)
The artist, graphic artist and teacher Egils Radzins was born on June 2, 1957 in Liepaja. In 1984 he graduated from the Liepaja Secondary School of Applied Arts, from 1984 to 1989 studied at the Faculty of Pedagogy of the Latvian Academy of Arts in distance learning. In parallel studying at the university worked as a teacher at the Liepaja School of Applied Art. Venerable teacher and a great draftsman.
He graduated from the Latvian Academy of Arts with a diploma work “Ship”, the head of which was Ivars Heinrichsons. Since 1984, he participated in autumn exhibitions of Liepaja artists, Liepaja graphic artists exhibitions and group exhibitions of young Liepaja artists. He left more than 50 pages with graphics, the same number of paintings and an impressive number of works in applied art - posters, Liepaja maps, bakes, logos, 5 illustrated books, drawings for the press and many other masterpieces. He was broken by disregard, indifference and intrigues of the world around him.
He committed suicide on February 10, 1993 in Liepaja.
