Agnija Germane’s paintings is rather expressive, she uses bright colours, vigorous brush work, works with brush and putty-knife. In her works the tendency to abstraction is observed, but relation with the nature and realness of objects at the same time is kept. In the works she generalizes the impressions received on open-airs in which she on a regular basis participates. Agnija paints landscapes, figurative compositions, less often - flowers.
